Who might want to take the course:
- Anyone with PSCS* who needs to recertify;
- Anyone who may wish to do PSCS in the future, will need this course as part of that certification;
- Anyone with interest in potentially serving on an ethics or arbitration hearing panel in the future;
- Anyone interested in the details of CTR Statewide Professional Standards policies (ombuds, mediation, hearings, citation, procedural review, appeals, enforcement, etc.)
- Anyone who would like free CE and to complete their COE requirement.
The course includes information about statewide professional standards, recent changes to the REALTOR Code of Ethics, the various processes in professional standards (ombuds, mediation, grievance, citations, ethics hearings, arbitration hearings, procedural reviews, and more), due process, procuring cause, cooperative agreements, and professional courtesies.
This course is approved for 3 hours of ELECTIVE continuing education (CE) credit towards 2026 real estate license renewal. *For those holding CTR's Professional Standards Certified Specialist (PSCS) certification, this course counts towards the recertification requirement. Must be present for 100% of the class time to earn CE, COE and/or PSCS credit. This course is not open to other attendees.
